Meet our Director of
Christian Education (DCE)

Korey
Danley was born to Darold and Elthea Danley on December
21, 1982, in Huron, South Dakota. Growing up, Korey
attended Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Huron and was
active in youth group and the South Dakota District
Youth Board. Throughout high school, Korey was also
active in multiple school choirs, video production, and
drama. He graduated from Huron High School in 2001.
Korey has one older brother Kasey who resides in
Watertown, South Dakota, with his wife Steffanie and son
Brayden.
In the fall of 2001, Korey attended
South Dakota State University to work towards a degree
in Broadcast Journalism. In the spring of 2003, Korey
followed God's calling and transferred to Concordia
University, Nebraska, to pursue a career as a Director
of Christian Education (DCE). While at Concordia, Korey
was a member and co-chair of the Student Activities
Council, participated in the Concordia Singers choir,
and was also the Spiritual Life Coordinator for DCE
students. While volunteering in the Student Activities
Council, Korey met his wife Tiffany Rodden. Tiffany and
Korey were united in marriage at Redeemer Lutheran
Church in Olathe, Kansas, on May 27, 2007. After
completion of his internship in August 2007, Korey
graduated with a B.A. in Theology, a DCE Certificate,
and minors in Youth Ministry and Family Life Ministry.
Tiffany was born in Peoria,
Illinois, to Gary Sr. and Tina Rodden. She lived most
of her childhood life in the Kansas City, Kansas,
suburban area. Tiffany has four brothers, Gary Jr. and
his wife Kerri and their two daughters Kallie and Keely;
Geoffery and his wife Whitney and their children Cole
and Kinsley; Greg; and Tyler and his wife Ashley.
Tiffany graduated from Olathe North High School in
2003. She then attended Concordia University, Nebraska,
and obtained a Lutheran teaching degree in Elementary
and Early Childhood Education.
After college graduation, Korey and
Tiffany both accepted their first Divine Calls to serve
at Trinity Lutheran Church & School in Litchfield Park,
Arizona. Korey served as the Director of Youth and
Young Adult Ministries. There, Korey ministered to
students and their families from ages 10-25 and directed
Vacation Bible School. Tiffany began her career as
Trinity's middle school, grades 6-8, math and science
teacher. In 2009, Tiffany accepted the position to
serve as Trinity Lutheran School's Childcare Director,
which served children from age 2 through 8th
grade, while also teaching 8th grade advanced
Algebra.
Korey and
Tiffany are both excited about the new opportunity to
serve at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church.

Ensuring Safety for Our Children
Making sure our children are safe is a huge priority
at any of our BSLC functions.
As the congregation grows, we want to make
sure that our risk level stays at a low.
One of the steps in doing so is implementing
a background check policy.
With this policy, which was approved by both
the Elders and the Council, anyone who is 18 and
older and volunteers with minors will need to
complete a background check.
When asked to do a background check, you will be
emailed a web link, which will direct you to the
secure background check website.
You will then complete the online form with
your information.
The check will be performed, and the results
will be sent to the church at no charge to you.
All background checks will include both
criminal and sex offender checks from the national
database.
Please note that all information received in the
background check screening process will be kept
confidential.
Only BSLC staff will have access to this
information.
If you have any questions or would like to
know more about the background screening process,
please contact DCE Korey Danley.
