Wednesday Evening Bible Study - "Coping with Change"

Wednesday night women's Bible study will be studying "Coping with Change." Sometimes being a woman seems like a lifelong series of changes! We'll read Old and New Testament examples of people dealing with career, family, and spiritual change to gain perspective on our own lives. Class will meet Wednesday nights 6:30-8:00 and will follow the midweek/confirmation schedule, except for the first Wednesday of every month.  On those Wednesdays the Bible study will not meet, and women are encouraged to participate in the MOMSnext gatherings. Women's Wednesday Evening Bible Study - From Joseph to Moses: How 12 brothers became a nation. Join the ladies for a refreshing evening of study and fellowship as they explore how the Israelites ended up in Egypt and how they got out again. Thursday Evening Bible Study - “BEAUTIFUL FEET”

The Thursday Night Women’s Small Group, open to all women 16 years of age and up, prepare to embark on a journey in Mentoring Woman, January 26, based on a study for Titus 2. Join us as we learn to love, teach and care for one another according to God’s Word. Contact Deb Williamson, Gretchen Schwartz or Ruth Cheshier for more information.  We are looking for women who will host the meetings.  This means opening their home for us to gather in but not lead the study.  This will allow us to meet on nights other than Thursdays and make the meeting place more convenient.  Please contact Deb Williamson, Gretchen Schwartz or Ruth Cheshier if you are interested in doing this or would like more information.

Women’s Ministry Planning Meeting – Tuesday, February 21, to discuss a Women’s Newsletter, informal events for the ladies of our church to gather and get to know each other and lastly discuss the possibility of a Women’s (Saturday) Retreat.  All women 16 and over are invited to join us as we work towards the goal of having a ministry where we care for one another

Meet other Moms at MOMSnext

If you're a mother of busy school-agers, join in the fun, food and fellowship at our monthly MOMSnext meetings.  Beginning September 7 from 6:30-8 p.m. at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, we will explore what it means to be grounded in love and beginning the book titled Nice Girls Don’t Change the World by Lynne Hybels. The Beautiful Savior LWML invites all women of the congregation to join them on February 13 at 7 pm as they begin a new study of the women of the Bible.  The meeting format has changed. There will be Bible study from 7-8 pm followed by refreshments, and then the monthly meeting. Come and stay for all or part of the meeting.  If you have any questions, please speak to Doris Kappelmann or Donna Steele.

Beautiful Savior has reservations for this year's Women of Faith "Celebrate" Conference (Nov 2nd & 3rd). Deposits are due by January 16th. 

The more we get registered (and the earlier) the better our seats will be.  Right now we're in about the same area as the last conference.  The group name is Ladies of Beautiful Savior. Some changes for this year, for those that want to, we will be reserving rooms at a hotel nearby and there will be a change in the presenter line-up. We haven't been told what that means, but I'll share as soon as I know.
