Church Council

Beautiful Savior's Church Council consists of the President, the Chairman or a representative of each formal board of the congregation, the Secretary, the Treasurer, and the Financial Secretary of the congregation.  The Pastor and Sunday School Superintendent are ex officio members of the council.  In November, the Nominating Committee seeks individuals willing to serve on the council, and elections are held at the annual meeting.

Church Boards

The official boards of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church are:   Board of Elders, Board of Trustees, Board of Missions, Board of Education, Board of Stewardship, and Board of Fellowship.  Each board consists of at least four members.   Anyone willing to serve on a church board should speak to the Nominating Committee or the Pastor in late October or early November.

Pairs and Spares

Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church is committed to helping God's people develop strong and lasting marriages.  One of the ways we accomplish this is through Pairs and Spares.  This group encourages spouses to invest time with one another.   Opportunities for "quality time" as husband and wife are provided.   In addition, we have also opened this group to singles who seek Christian fellowship and enjoy spending time with other adults. Lutheran Women's Missionary League

The Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML) meets on the second Monday of each month for spiritual growth, fellowship, topics, and other activities.   In addition, the women meet at various times throughout the year to make crafts and baked goods to sell at the annual "Craft Patch" bazaar at John Knox Village to raise funds for mission projects.

Choir

Beautiful Savior's choir practices are every Thursday at 7 p.m. (September through April).  Its music enhances the worship services several times throughout the year.
