Lent Series

2017 Lent Series “Re-Form”: When God first made us His disciples, transforming us from death to life and conforming us to the image of His Son, He did all the work—it is by His grace, through faith.  Now that we are His, we are called to be active in the ongoing task of being re-formed by His Word and Spirit.  Lent is a season of repentance and preparation.  As we look forward to Easter (and as we recognize this year as the 500th anniversary of the Reformation), we will let the Word of God as beautifully summarized in the Small Catechism be the tool that God uses to re-form us.  Join us on Wednesdays in Lent as we…

FAMILY EASTER EXPERIENCE

There is so much to learn about the events of Holy Week, from Palm Sunday to Easter morning.  On Easter Sunday, your family (all ages) will have the opportunity to learn about the events of Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday.  As your family walks through the five stations hearing the Holy Week story, you will make a keepsake craft to take home.  The Family Easter Experience will be open for walk-ins anytime between 8:00am and 10:15am and will be located in the upstairs Abounding Love Preschool rooms.  Come!  Celebrate Easter with us!

If you wish to purchase an Easter lily for the altar in memory of a loved one or for any other reason, please sign up in the communication center.  The plants are $9.15 each.  Please write your check to Beautiful Savior, and note in the memo area “Easter Lily.”  You may place your check in the offering plate.
