Wednesday Morning ?

Women's Wed. Night Bible Study - This group, led by Deb Jenkins, will follow the midweek schedule (see it here) and begins at 6:30.  Wednesday night women's Bible study will be studying "Coping with Change." Sometimes being a woman seems like a lifelong series of changes! We'll read Old and New Testament examples of people dealing with career, family, and spiritual change to gain perspective on our own lives. Class will meet Wednesday nights 6:30-8:00 and will follow the midweek/confirmation schedule, except for the first Wednesday of every month.  On those Wednesdays the Bible study will not meet, and women are encouraged to participate in the MOMSnext gatherings. NEW WOMEN?S BIBLE STUDY!  ?BEAUTIFUL FEET?

 Women care for others, clean up after them, work in and outside the home and only at the end of the long day do we think about ourselves.  And the next day, we do the same thing again.  At some point we start wondering, ?Why are we so tired, where did the time go, and who will take care of me??  We forget that we are supposed to be loved, encouraged and taught by each other; we forget to make time for ourselves and our sisters.  September 22^nd starts a ladies? small group on ?Beautiful Feet? to remind us we do not walk alone and we are beautiful in His eyes.  This is open to all ladies, and you are invited to bring a friend.  Sign up in the Communication Center, or email Deb Williamson at mydrmsr@gmail.com.

WOMEN'S SPECIAL EVENT-OVER THE TOP

 Over the Top, the Women of Faith event this year is coming to the Sprint Center November 4^th and 5^th.  Cost is $89.00 / person as long as we have 10 people signed up; our goal is 25!  More information is to come.  Contact Deb Williamson at mydrmsr@gmail.com or talk with her at church.  For more information about the conference, see the website http://www.womenoffaith.com/events/2011-events/kansas-city/.  Guest speakers include Patsy Clairmont and Sandy Patti.  Scheduled artists include Mandisa and Amy Grant.

Men's Wed. Night Bible Study - This class, led by Paul Jenkins and J. R. Steele, will follow the midweek schedule (see it here) and begins at 6:30.  Paul and J.R. will use resources from Lutheran Hour Ministries: Men's Network to lead the class in discussion that are current and relevant.  Plan now to join them while your children or grandchildren are in midweek and confirmation classes!

Men's Breakfast Bible Study - ?MAN VS. WILD? "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another" (Proverbs 27:17).  A men?s ministry will be starting up again at Beautiful Savior.  This year we are calling it ?Man vs. Wild? and will begin with a group study on the book ?Man in the Mirror.? This powerful book invites men to take a probing look at their identities, relationships, finances, time, temperament, and integrity, and then directs them to take the first step toward lasting change. The study will require light reading during the week followed up with group discussion and supported readings on Saturday mornings.  

When: Saturday mornings 8-9:30 beginning Sept. 10^th and lasting through December 3^rd

Where: Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church main floor conference room.

Christian Essentials Class - Interested in joining Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church?  The next CHRISTIAN ESSENTIALS CLASS will be every Sunday night, March 13 through April 10 from 6 to 8 pm,.  At the completion of the course, you may join Beautiful Savior by the RITE OF CONFIRMATION if you so desire.  Note:  Anyone wishing to review Christian doctrine is also invited!
