Sunday Morning Bible Class

Sunday Morning Bible Class - Witnessing Workshop – Sunday Mornings!
The Gospel is simple, but the world is complex. How do we share the Good News of Jesus in today’s world? A new workshop called “Every One His Witness” will help us to speak to broken people in their various specific contexts, telling them about what God has done for them in Christ Jesus. Participants in this core workshop will also have access to 40 online modules which are currently being developed. Join us on Sunday mornings starting July 8th in the Family Life Center (six sessions).  Class will start at approximately 9:15am and will consist of video presentations, small group discussions, and large group sharing.

Join us for Rally Sunday on September 9 at 9:15 in the Family Life Center.  Our theme is “Victory Awaits!”  Get ready as we have plenty to share with you that day about upcoming Bible Hour plans for 2018/2019.  A short devotion will be followed by activities for adults and children. Adults can enjoy our mini-car show on the parking lot, and children will have an opportunity to race vehicles on our tracks.  Oh, and don’t forget our awesome themed snacks for the day.  Our pit stop will have some fun food; let’s see if you can guess what our menu will be when we eat spare tires, nuts and bolts, cars, traffic lights, and have a refueling station!

Wednesday Evening Small Group

C3. “Christ-Centered Connections,”

Wednesdays from 6:30 - 8:00

Our Small Group Ministry - “For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them” (Matthew 18:20). Don’t know much about small groups but want to?! Don’t currently have a small group but want to?! Just want to enjoy time together with other members of your church here at Beautiful Savior?! Then come!

Christ Centered Connections (C3) - that is what our focus is as a church - establishing lasting connections with other followers of Christ that encourage and equip the body of believers to remain steadfast and immovable in the faith into which we have been called. That is the focus of our midweek classes, our confirmation classes, our high school youth studies, and our adult small group bible studies.

1. The women's Bible Study meets in the library, continuing the study on "Broken Crayons", and the way that God continues to work through His broken creation to create wonderful things.

2. A NEW study starts this evening in the narthex, "Max on Life", where we will be talking about answers to some of life's tough questions, including discussions about prayer, pain, and hope.

3. A NEW study starts this evening in the downstairs corner classroom, "Fierce Love", where moms will discuss some of the challenges and joys of being a mother, as well as developing some practical tools for to care for self and family.

4. A NEW study starts this evening in the downstairs large group open space, "Titus", where we will walk through the book of Titus, and see how the role of a Christian is as valuable in our world today as it was in the first century.

"For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” Those are the words written in Philippians 1:21. As people are introduced to the good news of Jesus, the Gospel, lives are changed. Beginning Monday, February 5 – 7pm, Chris Troester will be leading a small group study walking through the entire book of Philippians, where you will discover the Gospel’s impact on the community of Philippi and its impact on us today. The group meets every other Monday in the Troesters’ home. Contact Chris Troester ( with any questions or to find out more information.

In-Home Bible Study

IN-HOME SMALL GROUP:  The first commandment goes like this: “You shall have no other gods,” and yet this is the commandment we break most often. No other gods? That is hardly the case, as there are often many gods waging war, battling for our attention and control of our lives. A new in-home small group led by Chris Troester called “Gods at War” is a six-week series by Kyle Idleman. This small group study meets at 7 pm every other Tuesday. The next session will be Tuesday, November 28.  If you are interested or would like more information, contact Chris Troester at 816-365-3315 or Chris Troester.
