Wednesday Evening Small Group

C3. “Christ-Centered Connections,”

Wednesdays from 6:30 - 8:00

Our Small Group Ministry - “For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them” (Matthew 18:20). Don’t know much about small groups but want to?! Don’t currently have a small group but want to?! Just want to enjoy time together with other members of your church here at Beautiful Savior?! Then come!

Christ Centered Connections (C3) - that is what our focus is as a church - establishing lasting connections with other followers of Christ that encourage and equip the body of believers to remain steadfast and immovable in the faith into which we have been called. That is the focus of our midweek classes, our confirmation classes, our high school youth studies, and our adult small group bible studies.

GROWING IN FAITH WEDNESDAY NIGHT SMALL GROUP STUDIES

On Wednesday evenings, as God’s people we have several opportunities to grow in faith. These are two studies that will meet together on a regular basis to grow together in relationship with one another and to grow in faith. No need to sign up. Just show up to any one of these Wednesday night studies beginning September 5. Childcare is available. There is also a family meal served beginning at 5:45pm each Wednesday (click here for the meal schedule).

IN THE MIDDLE OF THE MESS: Life is messy. Since the fall of Adam and Eve, nothing is perfect. As a result, sometimes the trials of our non-perfect life can feel overwhelming, leaving us broken, our life shattered into pieces. Trials such as a single mom at the end of her rope, financially being unable to get a head above water, a chronic illness that debilitates mind, body, and/or soul, or perhaps you work with people who make life difficult. Perhaps the death of a loved one has left you empty, feeling alone; maybe the darkness of depression swallows you and leaves you suicidal, convincing you that you are too far away from God's grace and your mess “too big.” Please join us as we share in our brokenness and reveal how God can give us strength In the Middle of the Mess. We will meet in the library on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:00 beginning September 5. Please contact Donna Steele (donna.steele@lsr7.net) with any questions.

EPHESIANS by J.D. Greear: Has it ever dawned on you that nothing has ever dawned on God? He knew before the world began that His people would face hardship, so He gave us His Word. The Book of Ephesians is a survival manual—it equips believers to thrive in a world that hates the message of Jesus Christ. Paul the Apostle writes to encourage believers to live well—we've been lifted from the graveyard of sin and called to shout the gospel into the darkened world. We will meet in the narthex (outside the sanctuary) on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:00 beginning September 5. Please contact Chris Davis (cpdavismo@gmail.com) with any questions.

In-Home Bible Study

Small group bible study on the book of Titus will be starting in October. We meet Monday evenings at Chris and Jan Troester’s home. Contact Chris at 816-365-3315 if interested in being part of the study.
