Please Pray for our FIRE Junior High Ministry as they attend their weekend Retreat at Tall Oaks Conference Center, October 27-29.  The theme is “Freed: Live. Love. Serve” based on Galatians 5:13.

FIRE RETREAT registration is open!  Stop by Korey’s office for the registration packet which will include all of the details.  The retreat, which is for all 5th through 8th grade students, will be held October 27-29 at Tall Oaks Conference Center.

High School Students and Families!  We are blessed to have amazing Christ-centered universities in our Synod.  These universities equip students for service within the church and world in both church work and secular vocations.  BLAZE is offering an amazing opportunity for high school students (and parents, if they want to join) to tour one of our fine Concordia Universities.  On October 19 and 20, Korey and Tiffany will be hosting a trip to their alma mater, Concordia, Nebraska in Seward.  Please visit to check out what they offer for both academics and extracurriculars.  If you are interested in joining us, please sign up outside Korey’s office by Sunday, September 17.  To help cover the cost of the trip, there will be a $25 fee for each student.  Students will be staying the night in the dorms on campus. There are free housing options for parents on campus; however, on-campus space is limited.  There are also hotel options in Seward for parents. Please speak with Korey regarding adult housing options.  Questions?  Contact Korey.

The Kansas District Youth Gathering Registration is Open for high school students!  It will be held in Topeka November 17-19. Bread of Stone will be the house band, and Rev. Matt Popovits (from the National Youth Gathering) will be the speaker. The theme for the weekend is “Made for This” based on Philippians 1:9-11.  The cost for the event is $115 per student. There is also an opportunity for deeper Bible studies and discussion (“Bible U”) during the breakout sessions for those interested.  If you are interested in the “Bible U” studies, there will be an extra $25 charge. (Total for "Bible U" students = $140.)  Registration forms and $50 deposit are due to Korey by September 24.  The final payment of $65 (“Bible U” students - $90) is due November 12.  We want ALL high school students to participate in the gathering. Please contact Korey if financial assistance is needed.  Registration forms are located outside of Korey’s office.
